What a day!

After the sad demise of Mabel (the car) yesterday, we picked up Dirk (the replacement car) this morning. He's very lovely :)

Then a quick trip to Asda to pick up some groceries and then home for fab BBQ/get together with friends and their daughters :) We had actualy considered calling it off as it had been drizzling, that fine mist like drizzle, off and on since the morning. Throwing caution to the wind we decided to go ahead with it and it was fab! A really nice afternoon & evening. Good food, good drink & good company, what more could you ask for! The girls had a great time too, alternating between blowing bubbles, dipping themselves into the paddling pool & jumping on the trampoline :D
