Nelson Monument

It was a lovely morning.  I worked in the office today, and it was busy for a change.  It was nice to have lots of colleagues around, and there was lots of chat and catching up. I did escape for a quick walk at lunchtime, and it had to be quick as I hadn’t much time. 
 
I bumped into a friend on my bus home tonight and we had a good old chat all the way home.  The journey passed very quickly.
 
After tea I popped out to get the rest of my steps.
 
This is the Nelson Monument on Calton Hill against a very blue sky.  The trees are starting to look autumnal.
