Stornoway pier

This is a picture taken from MV Suilven on departure from Stornoway in 1996. The sheds on the right of the picture have long since gone.
Suilven itself now rests at the bottom of Suva harbour in Fiji; its successor MV Isle of Lewis is due to be removed from Calmac service. The current ferry MV Loch Seaforth has been on the Ullapool service for nearly 10 years now (posted October 2024).
