Today...

...a wander around Leith. 

Most enjoyable.

A wander around our old haunts. Nice to see the old place. No longer hoodlums and hookers but now all hand crafted artisan coffee grinding olive oil weaving upcycling eye brow threading huxters. Didn't recognise the place. Given my age it may not have been Leith. Nurse! The screens. Too late.

Bought a loaf at the market for over a fiver. Madness.

Then walked miles to a quilting exhibition. Mrs FP was impressed, Murdo and I less so. We sat outside and enjoyed a tea and ginger loaf (slice, not a whole loaf). 

Right, have to go, something is beeping, might be my blood pressure alert, monoxide alarm in the utilety room, scones are ready or somebody at the door. NURSE!
