Brunch

Brunch with my girl.

She was full of chat about her night with Cal, his first taste of custard, his first steps. She talked of a glorious holiday and visit with the Steginks, her birthday, her garden, her job, Christmas....... it was good to be in her company and listen to her stories. She makes me proud.

I wore my toe tapping, pointy boots. She noticed immediately and shared my joy of them. It would appear I'm keeping them.

The man stayed home. While he is feeling much better, his throat is still struggling, and he can't do much conversation. It's also not hood to be spreading his germs. Fingers crossed, I remain healthy.
