New Wall

Ventnor is renowned for its stone walls, many of which are in need of repair and ongoing maintenance. This stretch in Bonchurch has been restored over several months. Some rocks had fallen and the road was closed. I thought it looked lovely in the dappled sunlight today. I often chatted to the stonemason who seemed very happy in his work. He has made a great job of it and is no doubt pleased to have finished before the Winter.
