A lovely sunny Saturday again! Perfect for my Saturday morning garden therapy! A bit more pruning got done today, along with some cuttings taken so at least I'm slowly making progress on the jobs that need doing.  Had a different neighbourhood kitty watching me closely today - this one isn't as friendly as some of the others so keeps its' distance.

Sad news from the Thames estuary overnight, and a story that kept the local facebook pages busy - 2 pilot whales, a mother and baby, were seemingly hit by a ship in the busy shipping channel, and ended up beached just off of Canvey.  A huge rescue operation was put in place to save them but, sadly,  both ended up dying :(  A large pod beached across the estuary near Sheppey earlier in the week and most of those died too so they could well have been part of the same pod :(
