Little dipper

Continuing my endeavour to take myself off to local places on my days off, I went out to a local RSPB site today. I was there much longer than I expected to be and came home slightly pooped, but had a nice time watching the wildlife. 

I saw:
Gadwalls (x many)
Coots (x a billion)
Great egrets
Lapwings
Shovellers (my favourites!)
Great crested grebes
Little grebes
Pochards
Tufted ducks
and many more

Intended to have a productive afternoon but I couldn't get my brain in gear so started a new knitting project (oops) and started organising some leftover threads from an old cross-stitch onto cards for future use.
