Welcome

Call me old fashioned, but I'm not sure that this is the best way to greet shoppers as they enter a supermarket. Still, what would I know? 

I started the morning with a tutorial which I totally messed up. I setup the room and waited, but no students turned up - that's not unknown but strange on a first tutorial. Then I had a flurry of emails from students saying that they couldn't get into the room. I closed and reopened it, no joy, so I sent students the URL and some were able to join me; an hour after I'd opened the room. I was on a timer because a colleague was due to use the room after me, and she would need time to get set up. I ripped quickly through some stuff with the attendees and promised to reschedule. Afterwards I worked out what the problem was - I was in the wrong room. I'd picked up an old link and I was in a room for the previous presentation. I've fronted up and told the students, and I'll sort out when I can do another one.

Then I went to Morrisons where I took this blippage. The weather was lovely, as you'll see from the extras.
