There are a few things going on within the family at the moment so no lie in for us today as there was a constant stream of phone calls and messages.

We also went to Waitrose to do shopping late morning and found the store to be rather busy. Mission accomplished.

Most of the afternoon was spent outside in the garden. Jayne mowed the lawns whilst I chopped up logs from the trunk of the tree which had to be removed earlier in the week. We then restacked and sorted out the logs in the log store before having a well earned cup of tea and fruit teacake in front of the fire. Bliss.

Bathroom blip today and thanks to everyone for this week's hearts, comments, and stars which you left for me.
