Mile Smiles

The children on The Royal Mile, Edinburgh. We were in town for these new haircuts (apart from Gordon who refused) and to see the other summer American blockbuster, Monsters University - which was really, really bad. Quite a neat idea, and some clever backstory, but it was SOOOOO saturated in rah-rah American dream crap that I came out fuming. That's a shame because Monsters Inc was fab and the other summer American blockbuster we saw a few weeks back (Despicable Me 2) was really great. So, I recommend that one if you have the choice.

The film was a hiccup in an otherwise lovely day together. We all slept in the tent again, no dramas this time straight to sleep after yet another barbecue. I could get used to this!
