CC is Two

Chantelle's 2nd birthday party, a barbecue at Nick & Nibs house.

After playing, singing, cake, presents and an hour in the paddling pool Chantelle needed a sleep, so laid down on a blanket with Nibs. However, I noticed her little hand creeping out to hold Betsy's.

Al jumped in to join in the general affection-opportunity. Nibs is one of his favourite people of all time and they are always joined at the hip whenever they are together.

Very nice day with dear friends.

On the way home we got stuck in a really bad jam caused by cows getting on the motorway! After we got through that, Chris had to swerve to avoid a chair in the middle lane! God knows where it had come from. Nearer home a pigeon flew directly into the windscreen as we were doing about 50mph! It made a terrible thump! There was nothing we could have done to avoid it! What a weird journey!
