After doggie walking and a late breakfast we all went on a day trip to Whitby.
We started off at the Abbey strolling around and taking in the atmosphere in lovely sunshine, then it was down the 199 steps, I decided to walk down the cobbled donkey track as I thought it would be easier, bad choice unless your a donkey.

Next stop the arcades not been in one for years, the penny falls now cost two pence.

My grandson challenged me on the bowling game, I got three strikes must have been beginners luck, he was a good loser.

Next - well you can’t go to the seaside and not have fish and chips (except grandsons girlfriend had chicken nuggets).

After a great day it was time to tackle the 199 steps (my new morning exercises paying off) made it to the top.
