I love little owls ..

So, as is my habit, I hung around this morning and then cooked us lunch (mum has meals on wheels lunches every other day, so I know someone's looking in on her if I need to be out)

After lunch I headed off to Kiplingcotes hoping to see red kites or hares. On the way I looked in a spot I'd been told ages ago that I would be sure to find a little owl .. but never had, until today!

He just sat and performed for me - quite happy to be watched and photographed .. but I buzzed off before he did - I don't like to push my luck!
