Nothing Runs Like a Deere
Day 1 of the small tractor show at a local apple orchard. Lisa had to work, so I painted for a while, then headed to the show. I say small, there were perhaps 15-20 tractors on display. Like this one, most were shiny and spiffy, but there were a couple that looked like they just came in out of the field.
I had decided beforehand to have a single cinnamon-sugar donut and an apple cider slush, but the line was a dozen people deep, and there was no price list for the slushes. C'MON PEOPLE! I did without.
The plan is to take grandson Beckett to the show on the morrow, so perhaps I'll have a donut then. Nothing quite like a donut right outta the hopper that is both warm and just a tad crispy. Plus, it's so much fun to have the bees buzzing your head and having them land on your cider glass. NOT!
Hopefully, Beckett will do some agricultural climbing tomorrow, and I'll get a shot of him on a tractor.
