Another glorious start to the day.
Dippy full of energy is finally responding to the one to one ratio and there are some positive signs of discipline.;)
ParkRun was very sociable apart from someone who did it twice non stop at break neck speed lapping some participants 8 times.
More social interaction with good friends with fika and chat at cafe du park. We wondered around the food festival which was set up along the quay and were shocked at the cost of artisan food. A bacon bap at one of the regular shops hit the spot but not too much on the pockets.
A gentle stroll around part of Torrington commons to loosen up our stiff muscles before heading over to RHS Rosemoor to get a Quick Look at the Festival of Flavours. I was extremely impressed with the quality and atmosphere in the display area, much so that I was only able to see half of it before closing time. Maybe another visit on Sunday will be necessary.
Peppermint tea and carrot cake with delightful company in the restaurant before popping in to see an elderly friend who loves Dippy and suggested that we get fish and chips for supper. All three of us enjoyed said meal followed by cherry crumble cake and custard.
Rain battered the windscreen on the return back to Amadeus and on the van roof where we both crashed out for the night.
