Penthouse suite

As K gains strength and healing each day, our days are becoming brighter and less stressful.  Took the opportunity today to get an outside view of K's (former) room in ICU......pretty much right next to the helipad which straddles the main road.  It's an incredible setup.......K really couldn't have been in better hands.  She's now settled in to a new room in another ward.

K has had a long day.  Was due to have small-ish op at 12.00 but midday came and went.....as did another 7 hours before she finally went in. 

F met the big-boss of the trauma department...the man who had made the call to her in England.  It was a tearful meeting as you can imagine. He filled in some more of the gaps which reinforced how almost unbelievable K's survival has been.  K may have her clavicle fixed tomorrow.
