Into the light

A relaxed day. I went to Hyde Park, the scene of last week's AWESOME Rolling Stones gig - those dudes can still rock - and took a walk along the Serpentine.

Then I caught a showing of 'Wadjda'. I was disappointed I couldn't fit this in when it was shown at last year's London Film Festival. But it was worth waiting for. An extraordinary film, made by a female Saudi director - a feat in itself - reflecting gender inequality in the country through the eyes of a sparky 12 year old. My film of the year so far!
