Hanging by a thread...

I caught sight of a spinning yellow something out the bathroom window.  A tiny leaf from the Trumpet Vine!  It was so odd because I couldn't see the thread that was holding it suspended.  It was there but it didn't show up in the photograph.  Just a moment of common enchantment on a Sunday morning.  I wonder how long it will hang there.  Spider threads are very strong.  In fact, spider silk is as strong as steel or in some cases even stronger when it comes to tensile strength, which measures the amount of stress a material is able to withstand before breaking.  Looks like I will be able to attend the event today, cloudy but no rain.
