Trip to the Deutsche Museum. We hadn't been in years and quite a lot has changed. We spent a lot of time in the robots and spaceflight sections. I also enjoyed the sections on encryption. I loved seeing the robotic Lemmy in the metal. There is an excellent youtube video of the robot in action. The Foucault pendulum is also very impressive (see extra).  Went out for a lovely meal in the evening and played some board games until late.
