Fine drawing

We got these birthday cards from our youngest grandaughter, Ella. She has always liked drawing and designing and is obviously now into a bit of calligraphy. I think these are are beautifully done and I told her so. 

I am waiting for the third live online lecture on female writers of the 1950s and 60s - this one is about Muriel Spark's The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. I have just read it again, having read it several times before. I love it. Sad that I was reading it as the news came of the death of Maggie Smith - her Jean Brodie was wonderful, never to be forgotten.
