The magnificence of trees
Stephen went off to church this morning and I watched the service on-line.
My hip joints (both of them as the left one is now compensating for the right one, ) were giving me some uncomfortable moments,
I had decided once I had watched the service that I would get out my Pilates mat and do the exercises which help to keep things as strengthened as possible pre surgery. It does help, but not if I overdo it,
I kind of know now when to stop.
Once Stephen had returned and we had finished our lunch we took the car and parked across from where I took this photo then we went for a walk in the mizzly drizzle.
We walked along by the road you can see, going off to the left where you have a glimpse of a field over the hedge and a misty line of trees which you can see beyond the one solitary one in the field.
There is a lane there and we walked along till we got to a footpath which was accessed by a gate. This then led to the nearby Chase Farm shop and Café, where we had a coffee.
It has been a dull misty day. Since we got back home it has actually begun to rain.
Yesterday we enjoyed having yummy birthday cake which our eldest grandson had made himself. Dairy and gluten free chocolate cake decorated with dairy free mini chocolate buttons.
We took ourselves off after that to a lunch at the pub. Sammy was having friends come round in the afternoon.
Time for tea now,
Cheese on toast!
