The bees are still busy, I noticed this one as I was deadheading the Dahlias earlier.
Grateful to Ian and Matthew for trimming the conifer hedge this afternoon, another job off the to do list.  They had just finished and were putting the hedge cutters back into the car as it started to rain, perfect timing.    
I put the heating on for an hour this evening, the first time this autumn, just to make it was all working OK, prior to the boilers annual service tomorrow.    Must admit it did feel good having a nice relaxing bath in the warm.
