Haldon Forest

Visit with Son G to Daughter and SiL  involved a drive through the forest from the top of Haldon hill down to Starcross on the Exe estuary then on to Dawlish. It is interesting taking this route at any time of year, but in Autumn the leaves turn colour  early because of the elevation. This Forestry Commission land is a magnet for walkers and many other outdoor activities.
