Nick, on the way to the pub

Had a brilliant weekend cycling round the Cotswolds with my great friend Nick.

After a day of touring a series of ever more picturesque villages and rolling countryside, we stayed at a proper old-fashioned farmhouse near Stow-on-the-Wold.

To get an evening meal we had to stroll a couple of kilometres stroll across the farmland to the King's Head Inn at Bledington - as you can see, it was quite a chore!
