A quiet day

The double vaccine dose yesterday was not a good move, but essential to get them fitted in before the wedding.

B was in considerable discomfort in his left hand during the night following his fall, so we had a disturbed night. I woke at 9am feeling absolutely awful with the side effects from the jabs. I’ve had all available jabs over the past few years as single vaccines without any negative effects, but not this time. I went back to bed and slept until lunchtime, B made me a slice of toast to eat so than I could take my regular medication and some painkillers. I then slept on until 4pm by which time I was feeling slightly better.

I spoke to R on the phone this evening. The hen weekend went well and the girls had great fun.
