Autumn hearth.

Had a pootle into town today. Parked at Bridgefoot and took advantage of the £50 over 65's permit I purchased last year - courtesy of the Libdems. Mrs Moai and I checked out the Sunday market, did a bit of retail on the High street and finished up in the Encore pub for a pre-lunch bevvy.


This evening I lit the wood burner to drive out the Autumn chill. Standing in front of it in the photo is ( I think) Plueng, Thai goddess of fire, a statuette purchased at the Barn in Studeley, a favourite shop of ours which is always choc full of quirky items for the home and garden.
