Cycling country

Set off early to try and get up to the head of the valley past Beaumont, Les Vallettes, St Marguerite, and les Alazards, It was hot and although my cycling legs are improving I still find it hard! Got as far as les Alazards and then got distracted by swallowtail butterflies! Any excuse to get off for a rest! The field in the foreground is a short wheat which is grown around Ventoux and often used in casseroles.
Then spent a cooling time at the pool on the campsite.
Went round to Zoe's to watch the last lap of The Tour de France. What a cycling feat for those men who undertake it. Hoping for Cav to win the stage in Paris.
Not sure what we'll do without le Tour to follow!
