Dovecote

Hardcore writing stint this morning.

Had a wander around the botanical gardens at a nearby manor. It’s such a relaxing place. They had a display showing some of the ancient trees lost to the horrific storm almost a year ago. My blip is the dovecote which allegedly dates back to the 1200s. Those are Jersey Lilies growing around the base.

This evening Deb cooked a delicious roast for daughter J and I. We are into comfort food season!
