William Morris Window
Went to the local Lincolnshire life museum today as they had a '40s weekend.
This was designed by the Pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones who worked for Morris at Marshall, Faulkner and Co a company set up by Morris and established in 1861. Burne-Jones was considered by many as the best in his field.
It came from a now demolished church in Lincoln, and our first house in the town had the fireplace made from some of the stone !!
