Billy's birthday

Today we were supposed to be celebrating with the talented artist of this painting. 

Al's brother Bill asked us to start our trip by spending today with them before heading north.

Sadly, Al is in too much pain to travel,  so we had to decline.  Tomorrow we're seeing about getting him in for an MRI asap.

It was a beautiful day with colors beginning to show here in our own backyard, so we won't miss autumn glory.
