Sunny ambles
Each morning I’m ambling over to the hotel the family is staying at to enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in their company.
On the way I pass the Quarteira market cranking into gear. Fishmongers mill around in white aprons as pungent fluids slide down onto the pavement. Bakers haul their trays from vans to shops, completing their bread runs and deliveries.
I think I’m mainly just happy to be shuffling around in flip flops in warm weather, and wedded to the idea of doing things without having to layer up several rounds of clothing. The Algarve sunsets as we head out for dinner are just lovely and peaceful.
