10k walking with Dippy first light keeping cool with some light misty rain.
Prepared enough kedgeree for a couple of meals and some for lunch whilst visiting RHS Rosemoor later on.
Reggie and Bella Dippy’s mum and dad popped over with Henri, three collies and two humans in my little van was about its limit. Dippy behaved like a puppy as they all greeted each other in only the way a pack of dogs can!
After saying goodbye we headed over to Rosemoor, Dippy fell asleep so I wondered around the Gardens visiting Shire horses Apple displays and other outdoor activities until the rain just after midday, he became quite a nuisance.
Indoors to complete the viewing of the arts and crafts exhibition. I invested in several different useful items including a needle felted infuser to help with damp-dog odour within Amadeus, some hand made soap and a hemp bag to help keep it from getting too wet and a Leopard. My friend Alison christened it Monty.
Down to the Puffing Billy and a little stroll with Dippy, L and L in some torrential rain just to help the damp get through to my shirt.
A little drive to Appledore where a rainbow leapt out of the river and curved up onto the beach.
Back to Amadeus and some supper in the cosy dryness of our little mobile home.
