Demolition

Drumming this morning, another challenging session, and coffee afterwards with some of the drummers.

A text from MrM landed as I started to walk home. He's was walking into Holmfirth, and suggested that we meet for lunch, which we did. Just a sandwich at Beatties, hummus and roasted peppers for me, and very tasty.  Surprisingly warm, and dry, so we ate outside! MrM persuaded me to walk home the steep way, but I doubt it burned off many calories from lunch!

Into Huddersfield on the bus this evening for jazz club, and another evening of excellent music. The weather had turned by the time we travelled home - cold and wet again.

There's lots of 'improvement' work going on in Holmfirth at the minute, to improve the flow of traffic among other things. But before improvement comes chaos, and the Blip shows where the market hall has been demolished, to be replaced by a car park and an outdoor space to be used for events and an occasional outdoor market.
