I had to nip out to Bovey Tracey to sign some paperwork for Mum' s care, nipped into The Mare & Foal Sanctuary shop as I was early, found a pair of Peter Storm waterproof trousers (£4), 2 brand new box files (50p each), then I found a very good quality waterproof ski/walking jacket (£8). Hubby & I were going shopping for waterproof trousers this afternoon. No need now. Back to Mum's, made cauliflower cheese to go with baked tomato, butchers sausage, & peas with crusty bread for her lunch. Mum prepared a bowl of strawberries for her tea. Back to Chudleigh, picked up hubby then drove into Newton Abbot. We walked through the town, hubby wants a winter cardie, no luck, then back to Asda to pick up a case of cider where we had a coffee.
Mum's first introduction to a carer tonight. I hope my lucky day does'nt end......
