Derwent Water from Friar's Crag

Our final morning away. I took a last opportunity to capture some images, this time the area around Friar's Crag in Keswick.  Luckily it was calm and the reflections were available until the rain inevitably arrived.

After leaving the inn we popped back to Keswick so I could drop off a pair of waterproof trousers for repair then we made a bee line for home as L isn't feeling very well.  We just had time to say hello to JohnGravett's wife, Deb and a plan to meet up again in November.

We've had a very busy 10 days away, driving over 1,800 miles since leaving home.  We agree there was too much time spent in the car, rather than being able to explore the areas we visited, possibly took on too much and next time we will base ourselves in one area so we can explore more on foot.
