Paddle Power

The 1st day of my week off work and a steady one. Late morning we went and got the weekly shopping done so that we was back home to logon to the Wigan Website to get tickets for the grand final that went on general sale at  1.00 pm.  I struggled to get them in the area we wanted in the lower part of the stand . They soon sold out of our allocation  so I went on the RFL website and managed to find some up in the gods , i could have done this yesterday but wanted to get them through the club  so they got a cut from them but never mind at least we have got tickets to go watch the game hopefully there is a lot more Wigan fans in the top tier who will sing and chant.

This evening the plan was to go get a blip from an event that was cancelled last Monday due to the weather and fast flowing river waters. There was a night-time paddle of paddle boards , kayaks , canoes all decorated in lights . A good turn out including people from Sheffield , Scunthorpe , Derbyshire   and other places . I took a few shots this was as they was all getting ready to set off through the city centre  and onto the Brayford pool and then they was set to paddle back but we didn't hang around as it was getting to dark to get a perfect shot and was happy with what we had captured .
Back home tea out the way and now chilling
