Visiting the 'Nature in Art' museum

Woodpeckers and I went as planned to Twigworth , a small village just north of Gloucester. There was an exhibition called 'Ancient Trees' which sounded interesting. The  exhibition was of paintings and drawings showing specific impressions of well known ancient trees.

Unfortunately much of the artwork was rather underwhelming with several exceptions. Woodpecker's cousin Fiona, had two paintings in the show, one of which was the relatively local Tortworth Chestnut which I've blipped a couple of times in years gone by.

We had a cup of tea in the cafe afterwards, where I took this picture of a vase of cut flowers on our table. I've also added an 'Extra' of the old house which houses the museum, set out in the countryside.
