Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest - Mrs S and I booked not long after last years and always look forward to it immensely. That’s why we were up, showered, dressed and on the road just after 6:00am.
Breakfast at a ‘transport’ style cafe next to Exeter Racecourse and we arrived as the first of the three vans on our pitch.
Mark & Paul arrived, 3 vans in a ‘U’, events shelter up and connected to the vans, chairs out and beers in hand at midday, possibly our earliest start!
The evening gathering of hundreds of campers was a lively affair, 2 pint steins tend to get the party louder, quicker.
Pina Colada’s served in hollowed out pineapples with the hollowed out bits soaked in rum and served as an accompaniment to the cocktail livened things up even faster.
A curry to ward off the hunger pangs and all four of us in bed in our respective vans by 9:00pm.
