Another day on the sofa nursing this very noisy cold, entertained by Netflix.

Friends Zeynep and Altan were kind enough to come to the villa and collect Billy the kitten street cat to take him to the vet in Altinkum where, I'm very sad to say, the prognosis is not good. He will stay at the vets for treatment and all I can do is worry and wait. Poor little chap. He has a nasty virus and now I'm worried about his mum too. I'll try to get her to the vet when I am feeling better, although she seems to be ok at the moment apparently it is highly contagious. Unfortunately the local vet is away - so it has to be Altinkum - great veterinary practice, but at least 15km away. Think I'll try and get her spayed as well. There are more than enough cats on the streets around here.

Today's collage shows the plants I bought on Sunday. I've not felt like doing anything in the garden so they're just sitting on the terrace balustrade. 

Weather continues very warm - 26º-30ºC during the day. Overcast early mornings then the clouds clear the way for beautiful warm sunshine.
