Wee trip along to the shops on the bus - making use of that free bus pas! In the evening the rain eased off as we started to play although not soon enough to prevent me getting soaked on the way there. Eight-a-side and a close game for about 50 minutes. I started well with a couple of tap-ins to finish off good passing moves and then a calmly placed shot into the corner after the ball had been pinging around the box. I created plenty of chances for my team mates, some of which were scored, including a perfect cross for J to head in that repaid him for his earlier pass for my second goal. We pulled away in the last ten minutes and I scored my fourth for the night as we finished six up, although it might have been very different had J not made several great saves when the scores were even. So far, touch wood, playing at 61 has gone very well!
