The Feast Day of Saint Demetrius.

Today has given us clouds, light rain and a few sunny interludes. It was 17c in the living room at 8am.
I have walked to the corner shop, Best One, for our Daily Mail, and later in the morning to the Parish Church to collect a newsletter. Father explained about how the St Charles Borromeo Church bell is being looked after by the Parish Church. It weighs about 700 pounds. It is awesome. It needs a good clean up, probably using sand blasting. It was one of the Church treasures rescued before the church building was demolished in recent weeks.
Hunter and Holly are now being fed Gourmet cat sachets, because their Harrington cat sachets were all sold out yesterday. Thankfully they seem to love the Gourmet food.
