We’ve had another fantastic day, Cousin Island where we saw Giant tortoises* and the long tailed Tropicbird, ( extra) Curieuse Island where we had a delicious lunch but thought it all a bit touristy, and finally stopping at a little rocky islet , St Peter’s island for snorkelling.

*Apparently the giant tortoises were brought over from Aldabra Atol  which is part of the Seychelles but is close to Madagascar so too far for tourist day trips. They’ve now become established on these two islands but we much preferred Cousin which is a nature reserve uninhabited apart from a few conservationists.
