A memory of India

This is a watercolour I made in the days I painted. I was stuck for a blip as it has chucked it down with rain all day. Mr C has gone up in the wood to clear the leaves from the drains - if that isn’t done our garden has torrents pouring through it.

I managed to upload my Balkans Blurb book to get the 50% off and free postage offer.

We had the 60 mile round trip to Ashington to get my eyes tested for DVLA. I was fine on the distance test but he said I could have another go at the peripheral vision one “to give you a better chance”. I hate the test and probably was so nervous I did worse second time round. My vision was good enough to see all the young women working there had had their lips made enormous.

#2 daughter passed her probation period with her new firm. Of course they are very pleased with her but like me she’s a worrier and is glad it’s over and she’s on the permanent staff. Shame they already drank the champagne I gave them for their anniversary.

Nathaniel didn’t get a part in the new Harry Potter. Now he’s auditioning for a role in a series set in Jamaica. They want a boy with long hair - but probably not one who looks like a girl. (I expect I think that because he looks so like Ella).
