Give us a kiss
Out with the Stratford Ramblers today. The weather Gods were on our side and the 5.5 mile walk squeezed itself between the showers of early morning and the deluge of afternoon. Walk was from Lighthorne Rough to Combrook and back. Going was a bit soggy and this resulted in muddy fields in parts. This always means one's boots pick up large clumps of sticky Warwickshire clay, doubling their weight and giving the old quadriceps an extra workout. Still worth the extra effort though. The countryside gleamed in the sporadic sunshine with some great views around Compton Verney.
Halfway through the walk we came upon 5 or 6 heavy horses munching grass in a field and two of them kindly struck a pose for today's photo.
