"Take each day as it comes"

 
That’s the advice of a dear friend at yesterday’s birthday lunch for M.
 
And it  certainly applies to today. After an hour and a half  of yoga this morning on zoom, it’s been a day of chilling out and catching up on computer stuff apart from a walk up our road.
This once quiet country lane is now infested with electric vehicles, Range Rovers, SUVs, Lexus and the occasional Porsche en route to farms now gentrified into luxury houses. Trouble is one can’t hear them coming especially on a day like today with a strong wind blowing.
What is needed is some kind of handheld mirror akin to a bicycle one, so that you can see what’s coming behind you.  Maybe there is some young designer doing prototype now.
