Creeperie

I got up at seven. I needed to get the pc up and running for my 8.30 call, but that led to my getting sucked into work early. I forced myself to go off and do something else until official work time began.

Worked all day. Had a long lunch break, popped out in the rain to snap this Virginia creeper coming over the fence from our neighbour's garden. Carried on working until six. Managed to close two files, but not to open any more. We are under pressure to clear our backlog, but we've had illness and staff leave and the new referrals keep coming in. 

Had another look at my poetry homework, added the missing links that I hadn't realised were missing. Just had time to microwave some food before heading off in the rain to the class.

What a group! What words! As someone said afterwards, it's like  having watched  a really intense film. So much to think about, to digest. Came home in my friend's car, watched a documentary about Barliinnie Prison, and started on my homework for next week. Get it in early:  I'm learning at last.
