Black Forest Gateau

It's my turn at to bake for baking club tomorrow at work. Having had a desire to consume the 80's classic, Black Forest Gateau, I decided to have a go. It might not be the most attractive cake ever (I didn't even attempt the piping), but hopefully it will taste ok.

Not quite sure it how I will get it to work without ruining it. I can imagine it sliding around the on the car mats depositing cream and cherries everywhere.
