Late sun on Koube

These buildings from the Ottoman occupation of Crete, were than the East Gate of Chania town; that is up till 1900 and about ~  the Cretans liberated themselves from the Turks in 1899. 
It's a landmark for me when staying with Sweetheart; I pass it almost daily.
