Wonderful Distraction
I was distracted by flocks of birds eating berries on the Dogwood tree. I had a lot of things I "should" be doing but I watched the birds on and off for hours. I saw Robins, Starlings, Northern Flicker, and this Cedar Waxwing; I have never seen so many different birds jockeying for position in the tree. I am overjoyed to have been home and able to watch them.
Getting a photo of the Cedar Waxwings was difficult because all the big leaves were still on the tree and the birds seldom came into full view.
I suppose the little red berries qualify for Tiny Tuesday.
I am so tired of the negative political ads. The elections are on November 5, but I hope the advertisements stop before that because most will vote by mail before then.
